- Professional Development
- Data Collection & Dissemination
- Active Advocacy
• Professional Development
The Wyoming Statewide Training And Resource System program is funded by the Wyoming Department of Family Services and administered by the Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance.
For more information about these Professional Development Programs, call the Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance at 800-400-3999.
The Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance is the Wyoming KIDS COUNT Grantee. KIDS COUNT, a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the United States. By providing policymakers and citizens with benchmarks of child well-being, KIDS COUNT seeks to enrich local, state and national discussions concerning ways to secure better futures for all children. • Active Advocacy
The Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance (WCAA) is a member of Voices for America’s Children, a network of state and locally-based child advocacy organizations in forty-four states across the country.
WCAA is a research-based, non-partisan, independent advocate committed to no interest group other than children. As a member of Voices, WCAA is working to create a society that recognizes and works to ensure that every child:
- is economically secure and free from poverty and its debilitating effects;
- has quality health care;
- has quality educational opportunities throughout their childhood;
- is safe from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence; and
- lives in a nurturing family, in a supportive community committed to children’s development to their maximum potential.
The Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance receives funds from the Wyoming Department of Family Services, the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, Annie E. Casey Foundation and caring citizens like you.
